NIH Toolbox is a groundbreaking technology developed by more than 250 scientists over six years as part of the NIH Neuroscience Blueprint. It offers a standardized way to assess function, with over 200 measures available for stand-alone use or as part of an assessment battery. Its development has been sponsored by the 15 institutes that make up NIH. NIH Toolbox is unique in its capacity to “crosswalk” between measures, which can be hugely beneficial when working with diverse samples or when data-pooling is required. This technology provides a valuable tool for researchers everywhere.
