Riverworks Design began with a handful of clients, a lot of ideas, and one big goal: to build something meaningful. We never imagined where that little company would be twenty years later.
Steve joined the company, bringing a new perspective and helping shape the future of Riverworks. Later that year, one trip to a digital marketing conference in Las Vegas inspired us to become Riverworks Marketing and embrace a rapidly changing industry.
As our clients grew, so did their reach. We launched our first national marketing campaigns and moved into a larger office in East Brainerd to support what was next.
Our team grew to seven people, bringing new ideas, new talent, and plenty of energy. It was the beginning of the collaborative culture that still defines Riverworks today.
We purchased the Notre Dame Avenue building that has been our home ever since. It’s where we’ve welcomed clients, grown our team, and continued writing the Riverworks story.
Bernie officially became our Barketing Director, Riverworks became a Google Partner, and our annual pumpkin carving tradition began. Some milestones changed the business, while others simply made work a lot more fun.
As the team grew, so did our traditions. From birthdays and celebrations to creative photoshoots, we built a culture where people genuinely enjoy working together.
We were honored to be invited to Google’s Atlanta conference as one of only twenty agencies from the Southeast. That same year, we chased the total solar eclipse together and continued investing in the next generation through Chattanooga State’s Advisory Board.
We welcomed our first international client, began participating in DECA, and expanded our community involvement through organizations like the Chambliss Center for Children. Riverworks was growing in ways that reached far beyond marketing.
Learning never stopped. Conferences, team events, and time together outside the office strengthened both our skills and our relationships.
We embraced a hybrid work environment while helping clients adapt to a rapidly changing marketplace. Through it all, we continued doing what we love – helping businesses grow.
We continued strengthening client relationships, supporting our community, and investing in our team. Those connections remain some of the things we’re most proud of.
Community remained at the heart of Riverworks through DECA, food drives, holiday traditions, and local partnerships. Some of our proudest moments have happened outside the office.
Creativity has always been part of who we are, both inside and outside the office. From team outings and photoshoots to client projects and holiday celebrations, we found new ways to learn, create, and have fun together.
As Riverworks continued to grow, so did our team, our client relationships, and the opportunities ahead. Every new project reinforced what has always mattered most—people.
AI transformed the marketing landscape, and Riverworks was ready. We launched our AEO/GEO services while continuing to help clients adapt to the future of search.
Twenty years later, Riverworks is still growing thanks to an incredible team, amazing clients, and a shared passion for what’s next. We’re grateful for the last twenty years and excited for everything still to come.
