Sawyer Byers

A Chattanooga native, Sawyer brings an entrepreneurial mindset and a love for local business to his role at Riverworks. He has a background spanning marketing strategy, creative direction, graphic design, digital media, branding, content development, and communications.
Throughout his career, Sawyer has worked with businesses and organizations across a variety of industries, helping turn ideas and business goals into effective marketing. With experience on both the strategic and creative sides of marketing, Sawyer enjoys looking at the bigger picture while still paying attention to the details that make a campaign work. He especially enjoys getting to know a client’s business, understanding what makes it unique, and finding creative, human-centered ways to help it grow.

Outside of work, Sawyer enjoys spending time with his daughter, getting outdoors, golfing, paddleboarding, catching live music or a good movie, stand-up comedy, following UT athletics (Go Vols) and the Braves, and hanging out with his rescue dog, Rheya.
