Riverworks Marketing Chattanooga Nonprofit

Riverworks Marketing Group has launched a contest to give back to the community and reward the efforts of one local nonprofit organization. The full-service digital marketing agency will achieve this by asking Chattanoogans to nominate area nonprofits and determine, by a vote, which is most deserving of a new website.

While defining their core values, the Riverworks team reached a consensus that giving back to the community should be a vital part of what they do. With the Nonprofit Website Giveaway, they are putting their words into action. With so many worthy groups in the city, staff weren’t sure who to select, so the contest allows Chattanoogans to have a say in the process.

Anyone can nominate a 501(c)(3) in one of four ways: On the Riverworks website, on Riverworks’ Facebook Page or by using the hashtag #RiverworksCares on Twitter or Instagram.

When someone nominates a Chattanooga-based nonprofit (those with headquarters or a chapter located within a 25-mile radius of downtown Chattanooga) between now and January 31st, Riverworks will contact the organization to determine their interest in participating. Between February 1-15, those who are logged into Facebook can go to the Riverworks website and browse the nonprofits who are in the running, voting for one per 24 hours. The group with the most votes on February 15 will win a new, secure, responsive website capable of accepting online donations.

“This prize, valued up to $10,000, will include the pre-design consultation, training on the Content Management System, free hosting and maintenance for a year, and website analytics,” said Jackie Errico, Co-Owner of Riverworks Marketing.

She said the contest is a way for Riverworks to give back to the organizations who contribute so much to making Chattanooga a great place to live. While only one group will ultimately win the website, she hopes nonprofits will use the contest to raise awareness about their efforts.

“Chattanooga area nonprofits are an integral part of our community, working on behalf of those in need by raising awareness and promoting programs to enhance our quality of life. Riverworks Marketing would like to give back to one of these groups and help further their mission,” Errico said.

In addition to the giveaway, Riverworks’ staff of designers, copywriters and developers frequently help many Chattanooga-area businesses with the promotional materials they use when contributing to worthy causes such as fundraisers and awareness campaigns.
