Riverworks Marketing Proud Sponser
Riverworks Marketing is proud to support efforts to preserve and protect the outdoor spaces that make Chattanooga such a great place to live and work. We are one of the sponsors of the Chattanooga Audubon Society’s April 20th Adventure Pentathlon to benefit that group and the Wild Trails organization. The 10-mile race starts at Coolidge Park, challenging participants to run/jog 1.7 miles to Stringer’s Ridge Nature Park, ride a mountain bike on the 3.9 mile loop back to the trailhead, then paddle a kayak/canoe just over a half-mile back to Coolidge Park, where they’ll climb rope up the Walnut Street Bridge Climbing Wall. It will be fun for spectators watching these athletes test their speed and endurance while enjoying Chattanooga’s scenic beauty. Online race registration closes April 18th at midnight EST or once the maximum field is reached. Wild Trails and Audubon Acres are both 501(c)(3) organizations. Proceeds from the Pentathlon will go to improving Maclellan Island, an under-utilized recreational area and wildlife sanctuary island in the heart of downtown, owned by the Audubon Society.
